"Ojuu" or "Juubako" the multi tiered box in style of famous "Oribe style". This order of a patron was so provoking for me because it's functional restrictions. You know, it is funny that we could be more creative if we have more restrictions. This is one of the reason I stick my stance as a functional ceramic maker.

[ORIBE:a style developed by a tea master and a feudal lord Oribe Furuta five hundred years ago. One of the founder of the "Japanese style" away from coping the Chinese ceramic. asymmetric shape and freewheeling decoration with copper based profound green glaze is distinctive characteristic of Oribe style.
